CHEUNG YUE was established by Mr Chow, at 1985. Starting from a 10 staffs small-size production facility, we work on small quantity with simple style. With a commitment to reliable and price competitive production standards, coupled with timely delivery integrity, we have continuously expanded and begun establishing factories in other countries.
As the transition to the second generation of management in 1990s, driven by a commitment for the garment industry, we have now expanded to other Southeast Asia countries. In 2010, we started our first production in Cambodia, while we established our first production facilities in Vietnam in 2016.
Currently, our Hong Kong office has evolved into an Operational Headquarters, encompassing with Sales and Business Development Office, Supply Chain Operations Center, and Financial Center to support our entire business ecosystem. Additionally, in 2018, we have established a dedicated Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) department to rigorously oversee and strategize our ESG initiatives and sustainable development efforts across all our factories.
In the early 2000s, we began exploring the possibility of establishing our garment production operations in Cambodia. Initially, we collaborated with local garment production facilities to initiate our business activities. As demand for production surged in Southeast Asia, we made the strategic decision to invest in establishing our own factory in Cambodia.
By 2024, we have expanded our production facilities to 13,800 square meters in Phnom Penh, employing a workforce of 2000 people. We also committed to implementing eco-friendly production methods to mitigate environmental impact, enhancing working conditions, and advancing worker welfare to strengthen our social responsibility initiatives, emphasize governance practices and transparency to ensure ethical operations and sustainable growth.
Cheung Yue has start investing in garment factories in Vietnam since 2010. Now, we own two eco-friendly production facilities in Long An, southern city near Ho Chin Minh City, employing a workforce of exceeding 1000 people.
In year 2024, we have extended the working area of our factory - IZ Direct to 7,500m2. In year 2024, we expanded another factory – Ythanh to 8,000m2 with our own embroidery production.
We continue to expand our production capacity in Vietnam while upholding a robust sustainability framework within our organization, demonstrating our steadfast commitment to responsible enterprise practices. In future, we continuous to deploy automatic strategic in both our factories for increasing productivity, cost efficiency, quality improvements and lead to a competitive edge in the industry.
Cheung Yue initially began as a small-scape operation with about 200 employees at China in 1990. Then, in the early 2000s, we underwent a significant expansion phase enlarging our facilities and staff to accommodate over 900 workers.
In response to the evolving garment manufacturing landscape in China, we are now transformed into a resource and support center providing essential services and support for our operations. We focus on sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance collaboration with our partners.
